JTB Verification in Nigeria is divided into individual and non-individual. “JTB” stands for Joint Tax Board. It is a tax authority agency of Nigeria which issue TIN to individuals and some corporate organizations for the purpose of tracking their tax obligations and activities. TINs help tax authorities to identify taxpayers, process tax returns, monitor compliance, and enforce tax laws. Tax Identification Number (TIN) is a special number given to an individual, a registered business or incorporated companies for the purpose of tax payment.
JTB Verification
JTB Verification is divided into two
- TIN for Individuals
- TIN for Organisations
The first step is to log in to the JTB website and follow as directed below:
INDIVIDUAL TAXPAYER
- Step 1: Select your Date of Birth
- Step 2: Select your preferred search criteria from the Select Criteria Dropdown-TIN or BVN or Registered Phone Number
- Step 3: Provide the appropriate value based on the search criteria in Step 2 above
- Step 4. Step 4: Confirm you are not a robot by checking the reCAPTCHA Box
- Step 5: Click the Search button
JTB Verification for Non-Individual
- Step 1: Select the Organization’s Date of Incorporation.
- 2. Step 2: Select your preferred search criteria from the Select Criteria Dropdown-TIN or CAC registration Number or Registered Phone Number.
- 3. Step 3: Provide the appropriate value based on the search criteria in Step 2 above.
- 4. Step 4: Confirm you are not a robot by checking the reCAPTCHA Box.
- 5. Step 5: Click the Search button.
